2/17/2016 12:00pm Why not? I would love to try it out! But I would have made the fork slacker instead so a linkage wouldn't be necessary. And I don't see any reason to keep the seat tube straight. Bend it, and the chain stays could be way shorter.

2/4/2016 11:41am The brakes! V-brakes are more powerful than mechanical disk brakes, so I think that should work as long as I am not riding full on DH. Proper suspension is vital, and gears is needed for most riding I do.

One of the things I love about mountain bike companies: they generally don't take themselves too seriously. These companies are in the business of enabling people to have more fun and most of them recognize this. April Fools is a good example of what I am talking about.

Comparing a magazine to Instagram posts and crash videos isn't really fair. There is plenty of amazing, "magazine quality" content on PB and Vital; reviews, interviews, product tests, photo-epics, etc., and it comes more quickly (PB usually posts interviews and photo dumps like..... maximum two hours after a race or event finishes), and it's free. This isn't some stupid sign of the "good ol' days gone to pass forever" so much as it's just a sign that more people own iPads. Why would you want the "pendulum to swing back the other way" to print media that's still just as...
