I have used di2 and it shifts great! But to me it’s hard enough to ride sometimes not to have the opportunity foiled by batterys needing a charge. And look at all the clutter it adds. I’m sure that’s why they picked Scott bikes to showcase it, normal Scott owners and dealers wouldn’t even notice.

It's not a prototype. The bike has been ready a while. The finished product was shown to some Reps. in January.

Pointless. I know for a fact that Specialized always brings tons of bikes for riding . As for height goes, they also bring every possible size made. I was at the launch Sunday here in So. California and I got to ride both wheel sizes.

I do find it kinda odd that you didn't bother to test the 27.5 version. I could see if you where short on time but you had 3 days of testing if i read that right lol

Brandon, I don't know what are you talking about when you say that a longer dropper post is needed on the size small. I'm 5 feet and 5 inches and the 100mm dropper works just fine for most of us.

I ride far back too. My forks are very soft on the beginning of the stroke but they are very progressive on the second half.

Shimano has been using 24mm spindles for ages and has no problem providing adapters for different types of bottom brackets , also frame manufactures are going back to BSA bottom brackets so, the problem it's not the cranks, it's the frames.
