i posted this in the race talk thread about the pedestrian what happens during cautions and red flags in other racing sports? competitive advantages are often lost by those out front. there was significant interference on the track. she deserves a re-run if she protested (which it sounds like she did). before the "pedestrian" she could have the run of her life at the bottom and earned another spot or two at the bottom earning 5 or 10 additional points. they all add up. if this was an olympic run, would there be a re-run? 100%. People who do not speak English as a first language do not understand how 'bad' of a word it is for those in English speaking countries. There is some science article(s) out there showing different activity in the brain when the former drops an F bomb (no concern) versus the latter (big deal). Also, isn't this more Discovery's fault for not censoring? There was a recent running in Rally/FIA that post-stage interviews are exempt from the profanity van because it's considered 'in the moment' of racing, just like race radios in F1 can include swearing (bleeped out for the broadcast).

Man that race kicked ass. Turned it on last night just thinking it’d be ‘something to watch’ and holy shit, that track and the racing was unreal. The motorway bit too after the drop was proper. I typically yawn at jump sections in races but this one was raw and loose. Great job Crankworks and track builders. Gave the racers something to really get after.

The leverage that is being put on the upper elbow of the silver swing link from the black pull link looks really high. I've never seen anything with that kind of geometry.

Thank you for posting this. Too many people are using a racing rumors thread to talk crap on Kerr. It's also pretty sexist and BS that people are talking crap on Jenna when she works incredibly hard at her craft and has the speed. Can we move on from this please?

For myself: 1) Get coaching sooner 2) Spend more time sessioning and practicing and less time just riding miles of trail. More interesting would be for myself as a parent of a mountain biker (the only thing I'd probably change): 1) Get the kid on a bmx at a racetrack, pumptrack or skatepark ASAP and start them there at an early age before progressing to a mountain bike.
