I think you have the wrong approach! using a shock to counteract a flawed pivot placement design sounds pretty dumb to me. Why not have a properly designed pivot location in the first place. Also no matter how good your shock is it can't change the crappy rear wheel path created by this pivot location.

Alright boys, it seems the rumors are false. You're good to go. From Red Bull - "In the USA, when you go to www.redbullusa.com/rampage, users will be redirected to the NBC Signature Series site to view. Others outside the US will view direct from the Red Bull player. That's the only difference."

I swapped my 50mm stem for the straitline 28mm. After one day at a bike park, I'd say that was what I needed.

Sun RIngle MTX39s are pretty indestructible. Probably a bit heavy for what you're doing, but you'll have a hard time hurting them. For DJ I've been using Azonic Outlaws for quite a while and they're solid.

I have a 2011. I'll definitely try the shorter stem before anything else. Most small frames don't fit me, but I've sat on a few mediums that seem shorter than mine (Canfield Jedi, Pivot Phoenix, Giant Glory). I didn't measure them, just going by feel.
