Overpriced plastic bikes I could have bought everywhere...now the "special" is out of this brand..with what do they want to distinguish themselves?? More daltonic colour schemes?? BTW...what happened with all your glorified welders???Are they glueing now carbon sheets?

I have a Commencal Meta 4.2 and love it. That said, Max has zero clue about trail access in areas like my state, Colorado. Hikers, Horse riders, and many land managers look for EVERY SINGLE reason to kick bikes off of trails. Already rumblings of closing more access to bikes specifically because of the 'e-bike' movement. Not sure how it is in Europe, but that is what we live with in the USA.

So pumped for Troy, he's been so consistent in the last few years, it must have been frustrating not to get any wins. Fun fact of the day: Out of the 21 world cups between his 2 wins, Troy finished outside the Top 10 only 3 times. Of those 3 times, 2 were due to the skies opening up for the last few riders (Andorra 2016 & Lourdes 2017)

6/8/2017 2:04pm Last year the riders complained about the man-made rock gardens, saying they were too easy in the dry, and pretty much a gamble in the wet. Well, it looks like the organisers listened to them and removed the rock gardens. Careful what you wish for... Either way I'm pumped for another week of epic slideshows and Vital RAWs!

I made a similar point in the "should there be a 29er class" thread, but I focused a bit more on the industry consequences. DH is not road biking. At the end of the day, there will still be enough people willing to pony up cash for pro road teams to get decent field at events like TDF. & road bike R&D is cost positive, in that they sell enough of those bikes to break even, before considering racing. DH is a cost negative for many brands. They don't sell enough of these bikes to justify making them, they have...
