The reason there is more Fox than Rock Shox in the top 20 UCI World Cup DH: 1. Fox is spending more on sponsoring teams than RockShox right now. These top teams don't just go 'pick' their suspension supplier. They are sponsored by the brands. And right now Fox is throwing more cash at it. If the two deals are close then the team will go with who they prefer. The local Nukeproof dealer published notes that the bikes (that have been downpaid already) will probably be a bit more expensive, but they will try to honor the agreed upon price. And that the reason for this is stocking the bikes in UK with customs charges getting them into europe raising the prices. Supposedly they are working on a EU warehouse for 2022 to avoid this shitstorm of a situation. Brits really did royally screw themselves over with this Brexit stuff...

Vittoria has a MASSIVE tire factory in Thailand and they do plenty of contracted out manufacturing. And, it's been open for only a handful of years. Not that I know which brands but it supports your theory.

Also why pay for 3 riders when 2 riders will have just as much success not racing the soon to be cancelled 2021 season? Syndicate always 2steps ahead of the competition.
