The first thing I saw after the pee pee frame color was the exposed lines. Thank sweet baby Jesus if that’s their plan moving forward. They make pretty good stuff, I just think they overbought into the Dangerholm way of thinking.

I see the same wear pattern across my ebike & trail bike running identical compound tires, it's just massively accelerated on the ebike. The ebike's only like 10-15 lbs heavier than an enduro bike so not significant when you look at overall system weight (rider + bike). I always see more pronounced wear on one side's side knobs (right in my case) because of my cornering bias. I've never gotten to the point of tearing Schwalbe side knobs off because the center tread leaves the chat well before that. I have gotten to that point on Conti Super Soft though...

I hope it sells better than the Stumpy 15 for their sake. Big Red "updated" the Stumpy Evo — which really didn't need updating — and made a proprietary shock nobody wanted.

Man I hope that the new enduro sells super well, I couldn't care less about specialized but if a non ebike in that travel range sells well it should wake the industry up that there is actually demand for those bikes.

Is WR1 still made in Canada? I recently got a new rim that replaces "made in Canada" with "North American made". Stoked on the actual rim and warranty,but I'd hate to see it move production down to the reich

Couple insights Yeti MT coming very soon. Some shops already have them New Specialized enduro coming. My guess is march/april 2027. Apparently specialized believes it will sell better than the stumpy 15 which was one of there best selling bikes. No clue on design, just being told it’s coming

I don’t understand the point of the gram counting e-bike specs. Like, you have a motor and all you’re doing is compromising the bike’s capability just to save a little weight.

Ollie with Forbidden Bikes was bombing around at Mount Washington today on an unmarked frame resembling the eeb layout but the front triangle appeared to be slimmed down with a more conventional BB area. Had a Lyrik on it, no pictures unfortunately.

Yes. The US is doing amazingly at the moment. Especially with Aletha coming up we finally have another top tier female racer too. But given our population and depth of brands investment/involvement in the industry etc.. I just feel there has often been large gaps in talent coming through over the years and looking at the category system compared to the relative simplicity elsewhere in race results, just made me think is all.

As I got a little further into the conversation, the host mentions something about the "new range of bikes" and Peter says something along the lines of "talking specifically about the LT..." That makes it sound like a few bikes rather than a single bike or a pair of bikes. I wouldn't call two bikes a "range" and I wouldn't have used the word "new" for bikes that have been out for a year already (the LTe and MTe), so that feels a little like the host knows more than the guest wants to reveal. from my experience, there is no preventative maintenance on an alloy rear hoop. You simply admit that you're into a new rear hoop every 12-24 months depending on how many times a year you Ef around and find out. I do that a lot... so I go through 1 alloy reserve or ex511 hoop per year.
