Similar product, spotted at the Snow Summit National last weekend behind someone's van. Asked and he said they work great, exactly as intended. We compared notes about how blown away we both were the first time riding a heavy ebike through choppy rough stuff. The front one is apparently an off-the-shelf moto product that fits a Dorado upper leg without modifications. And yes, these are definitely suspended mass dampers. Sadly, this bike needed a steering damper and hand guards to win bike tech bingo.

Having run plenty of demo days I'd say it's about 30% just having a go on an expensive bike for free, 20% just telling you what is wrong with the bike, 20% "just confirming that my bike IS better", 20% "I'm thinking of replacing my 2011 bike in the next 3-5 years" , 9% having one of the bikes on a shortlist but "I'm going to buy whatever I get the best deal on" and 1% actually going on to buy something from the demo. A couple a year was more than enough to never want to do it again.

My $0.02... Yesterday was a tough day for a lot of people. The absolute most unfortunate event that we could imagine, happened. Rumors spread like wildfire once the course hold went into effect. At one point I think most people thought that the event was going to be canceled. I am thankful that it wasn't. Every loss should be tragic to anyody but it feels harder when that's someone I've been shuttling and practicing with for the last few days. Just doing our things together brings a sense of brotherhood, Unlike some other sports, I really feel a strong bond and sense of community in DH racing, especially in this field of the cat1 19 to 70+. All these guys are true heroes, dedicated racers only doing it for true passion.
