Seeing that Transition Factory Racing is shutting down due to the new WC changes. I know they weren't the biggest team out there but it still sucks. It would be cool to see teams like Transition Factory that can't support being in the world cup anymore move over to being a National team, focusing on the Monster Energy races and other big US races and series, helping them to develop. We definitely need more support for national level DH

The extra weight of the e bike definitely helps with stability and improves the unsprung mass ratio. I’m not surprised that bike feels comfortable and its cool to hear how stoked you are on it. The acute angle between the seat stays and chain stays of the rear triangle would allow for a decent amount of compliance, so that makes sense that it would be comfortable. Six-bar bikes are interesting. It’s cool how they manage to isolate kinematic variables a bit more compared to a four-bar design. That extra effort to squeeze out every bit of performance is always fun...

KTM could be an important lesson in making sure your brands are attracting different people.. As I understand it, the differences between a KTM, Husky, and Gas Gas may be subtle enough to where all the are doing shifting sales from one brand to another. Is Felt even still a thing?

Mechanically speaking, nothing is gained with a 15mm axle over a 20mm. What we gained by going with the (mechanically inferior) 15mm axle is the rapid and widespread adoption of thru-axles across all mountain bikes, then road bikes, then gravel and CX bikes. If the axle choices in 2012 (or whenever) were viewed as a binary choice between lightweight XC-oriented QR axles and a heavy DH-oriented 20mm thru axle, I think it would have taken a lot longer for product managers to go out on a limb and spec better forks and axles. 15mm axles gave product managers needed cover...
