4/9/2025 8:39pm I have had a zeb since release as I bought a zeb ultimate back in 2019 when they hit the market and got the first one my LBS got. That fork served me well over the years and saw many mods, vorsprung secus, then a smashpot, a hc97 push charger damper and ultimately a modified charger 2.1 (home brew shim stack nonsense). At any rate, getting to the point. That fork developed a CSU creak, and it was obvious to me I was better off buying a 23' MY zeb select and moving over the internals to that chassis. I...

3/14/2025 9:19am Same... also on an Enduro that came with the SD Select+, and have been running a 65mm stroke Storia V3. I will say, I was really impressed with the SD before I swapped.

3/10/2025 9:16pm Great question. The Luftkappe was the predecessor to and inspiration for the new Rockshox domed air piston, both of them robbing positive air volume to make more room for a negative spring, which creates a softer breakaway force at the top of travel. If you click those links, you'll see the family resemblance. And I know "robbing" sounds bad, but I don't say that as a bad thing, just a trade off. The Luftkappe and new Zeb air sprung create better small bump for all riders, at the cost of increased end stroke ramp that won't jive with all riders...

3/10/2025 9:16pm Yes, and that's part of the reason these exist. Luftkappe and the domed pistons found in Rockshox's Debonair+ springs take volume from the positive chamber and give it to the negative chamber.

3/10/2025 9:16pm I tried a Secus last year on my Zeb and wasn't a huge fan. It massively increased the small bump sensitivity, but I found it diving. When I added enough pressure to counter that, the ramp up at the end was more pronounced than stock. I have 2 Nokens (one on a 160 Zeb and one on a 170 Zeb) and am a big fan of them. I weigh about 25 lbs less than Charlie and don't charge as hard, so I never once bottomed either fork out stock with zero tokens. Adding the Noken to each and I could...

3/10/2025 9:13pm Stock grip2 vvc in known for too low compression damping. Are you sure your damper was not modified?

3/10/2025 9:13pm I've been interested in the Noken for my 38 and this review sealed the deal. I almost never get full travel but more importantly, my 38 does not seem to get more plush with reduced pressure past a point. It just wallows more without working any better over small bumps. Thanks 👍

3/10/2025 9:13pm Just got my Ratio Flux in today, threw it on my Zeb, running 5psi more than standard and it definitely feels more linear than with the stock cap with no tokens (I'm 220 lb rider weight on a 170mm fork). Will report back when I get more miles on it. So far so good

10/30/2024 8:45pm Ok, so yes, chiming in hee. First to not as has already been pointed out we have a TON of headsets and combos. @ebruner happy to help with yours specifically (or honestly anyone for that matter) but please DM me so we don't clog the thread. General info on chiming in: 1. split races: agreed they are not ideal, and can lead to creaking. but see OEM requirements to speed up install of products and make assembly easier and cheaper at times. Yes we offer it, but only because of a request. If you haveone and want to swap it...

10/30/2024 8:41pm Seriously. I calculated between 3,500 and 4,000 miles on an XTR cassette - it moved across a few bikes so I had to total up the miles on it. The wear life on them is extremely long.

10/30/2024 8:35pm It’s a one off front end made by Adam Prosise out of Colorado. Replicated geo and kinematics from Session R2 in 25% leverage ratio. I really like the Session platform but thought the frame was much too rigid compared to the Supreme V5 (which has the most fore/aft compliance I’ve ever felt in a frame and softest lateral rear end). So I wanted to see how the kinematic would feel on a more compliant chassis. Overall for my style of riding, speed and track type it’s been working great! It takes the edge off the feeling of sharp bumps and...

10/30/2024 8:34pm I’m currently riding a steel front end with aluminum rear off a Trek session. Great combination! Similar to that Vampire, different rear axle location/layout. Fun bike!
