I have the Ohlins dh but set up mullet. It’s super fun even on more mellow rides. I’ve read a review where they called the suspension “dead” or “too linear” but keep in mind they settled on the steepest and least progressive setting. (And 29”) Ride 4 is no joke. Not just geo. Ride characteristics are dramatically changed. Most “fun” bike I’ve ever ridden. Just make sure you have a trail bike to pair it with. lol.

Hence 'modern' freeride...? 😉 I do have an MX link coming though and will try both a mixed wheel and full 27.5 setup. Since I have a 15mm axle conversion kit on the fork it's easy for me to experiment with all my various 'Enduro' wheels I have kicking about.
