12/19/2023 11:47am I wouldn't be surprised if they are getting rid of all the old Grip 2 dampers by upgrading all the Marzocchi stuff. That HSC adjuster looks new, but the Grip 2 HSC only has 6 clicks of adjustment and would almost be better off having a rotary dial like that. Possibly they just added a new looking adjuster for the Zoke's to clear out a bunch of old Grip 2's, so Fox can drop the new stuff. Kind of KTM group-ish methinks (KTM, GAS GAS, Husqvarna on very similar but 'different' moto equipment) Wouldn't that be a heck of a...

12/15/2023 4:17pm Ok how is PVD still so relevant? Did I miss something back in the day when this guy was the chosen one. I mean he has cool ideas, but why do we believe him so much again.

12/14/2023 1:54pm They’re coming to the Santa Cruz area to talk with some LBS that carry them and are doing some tech talks with the community. I heard they are bringing the 9-1 and the SV8 along with some other cool things. check out trail head Cyclery’s instagram for details if you’re local

12/14/2023 9:52am Still alu, didn't spot a bottle or bottle cage inside as it was at a jump park but definitely had space for it. Was full 29.

12/12/2023 10:11am Spotted a new Canfield of some sort, vertical shock link, looked to be about 140-160mm travel. Guy riding it said it's "prototype" but refused to give any other information. Didn't get a spy shot because I am dumb.

12/12/2023 9:25am I finally opened an account because I finally found something interesting to share. Aluminum Atherton Prototype. Supposed to be there more budget friendly build. I think this was caught at the Dyfi Bike park

12/12/2023 9:25am Heavier yes. More expensive maybe, depends on how the lugs are made. If they can be made cheaply enough, I could imagine the final production price to be fairly similar to welded frames. As you don't need a welder, don't need to straighten the frames during heat treating, don't need to heat treat them, etc. The production process could potentially be a lot less energy intensive, at least the assembly of it (if the parts themselves are produced energy intensely). FYI, aluminium cars are bonded, not welded.
