7/27/2024 1:19pm Thats full seperation of the upper carbon layer. ie cracked. I have never seen a crack in carbon end up being just a scratch. edit: Exactly why I dont own an intense anymore, we used to buy them often and pretty much every one cracked. luckily the importer here was liable and not intense so we got our money back...

AM/ Enduro bikes (as in non-electric) will not really be a thing in 3-5 years. I'm certain I'll get downvoted for this, heck I would have downvoted this 2 years ago, but in a world where a mid-power e-bike and a full Enduro bike has their weights converge, the bike just becomes redundant. I pedaled my Enduro bikes for a lot of years but at this point it just seems silly to exert so much energy and ride time into the climbing portions of the ride.

I dont think that longer chain stays for longer reaches necessarily makes the bikes handle similar proportionately. Your feet are still in the same spot in relation to the rear wheel no matter how tall you are. So you are helping the overall front to back balance of the bike but it will still feel differently than a smaller size if all else is equal. I also think people put a little too much thought into some of these numbers, that's the beautiful thing about the human body between hips,knees and ankles we can really manipulate our body weight balance...
