You see and probably will continue to see Bosch as they provide a "safe" and mostly up to date system (gen 5 is quieter, bigger more advanced battery, toptube display and wireless controler, though "only 85nm") . For a brand today there are just too many options and it's much easier to choose this and not go for something they dont know and may be unreliable/not have a support network ... Choosing the "wrong" system could potentially kill a bike as many riders today choose the E system before the bike (looks,geo,suspension...). You can ask Yeti,Transition,SC,Evil who made some of the best handling...

Heavy rumours of an updated rail with the gen 5 bosch.(carbon & alloy) (maybe release of full gen 4 rail in both carbon & alloy) & the gen 4 rail is really good but not made in alloy sadely. I've also heard of a session & fuel exe update, being the exe getting the bigger TQ battery that the slash+...

It's not so much about DJI delivering, its about the possibility of them delivering which makes the other motor brands up their game, as mentioned in videos, those 'other brands' were at the DJI booth trying to find out stuff about it... DJI make quality products... you'd be naive to think they wont make a good MTB motor. @tabletop84 we...

Why would brands be swapping away from shimano when you think it was the best? Bosch Always dominates motor showdowns, their gen 4 stuff is great, sure its got a little motor clutch rattle but its reliable, strong & efficient with good firmware/software that, if you never update it, will still be good. thats the bosch life. Those motors were/are...

25psi in the front on ebike + 102kg guy with maxxis DH is to soft, the rim is often getting hit and it moves around 25 psi with a conti DH is nearly to much. funny that you mentioned 25 as its what i often run with conti's but proves how much the carcass makes a difference

What i think is irrelevent, Same with suspension setup. Tyre pressure is very person related, how do you ride, where do you ride, weight, what wheels, bike type etc Only you can answer that. I often go as low as i can but so the tyre doesnt squirm under heavy load, if starts to move around alot, up the psi...

probably everyone. Marin just switched Bosch, yamaha or Befang are the only good options IMO, You get the odd vocal specilized fanboy with brose but they are just wind. The next gen motors from DJI etc will be fantastic.. Shimano is miles behind.. again... Our local shop is a big time shimano fan but they refuse to sell shimano Ebikes...

the argotal in SS is excellent in the wet. Also be aware the conti carcass is quite stiff so you can use lower pressure to assist the 'soft'

If their NEw rift zone & alpine trail are anything to go by... the new Quake will be awesome. The new marin trail/enduro bikes are good... like really good. Got to demo the alpine trail and returned to the store & bought it. Reminds me alot of the merida Onesixty but more sensible

Agreed, I had one with a +1 headset as well. Shock / suspension never felt as dialed as my Spire and the STA was noticeably more slack even though numbers look close. A new one with a steeper STA and a 64-64.5 ish HTA could be great.

Hope so! IMO the current one isnt great, have to ride it hard and on steep stuff, otherwise its very unbalanced, +1deg headset made those bikes much better. Hopefully they also fix the frame/bolts QC Knocking things they are
