1/24/2024 10:16pm Reach is nothing without Bar height, Normally id say stack but Spacers do the same thing. Im 6ft currently on a merida one-sixty, It has like 498 reach which is massive compared to other bikes, But im running 30mm spacers and a 35mm rise bar and its spot on, vs other bikes i ran less spacers & longer stem.

1/24/2024 1:22pm I agree with what your saying but Carbon is still considerably more repeatable than Alloy. Whether is QC or what but ive had some absolutely terrible Alloy frames, The best frames are the premium brands made by Merida, including their own, this is both alloy and carbon for e.g Specilized are manufacturerd(and half owned) by Merida Im currently on a...

1/22/2024 8:04pm Fuck it why not 10 bars? 10 bars. All oversized bearings. Internal shock. Titanium frame. External derailleur cable but internal brake cables through the headset. Proprietary pull shock. And uhhh… dang. I think I got Scott's next Gambler.

1/16/2024 8:48am regardless of what the clowns say, its only time when you start valuing the Fun aspect of MTB more, Hate towards ebikers is pathetic, they just want to enjoy themselves without busting their ass for atleast a year and then still get out done by ebikers in both climbing and fun. I will often buy an ebike for the winter...

1/15/2024 11:05pm slightly off topic but effects this a little: Hopefully more Brands jump on the Frame only option as the prices come down... At the moment here for e.g a frame is 3k but complete slx build is 4k... we shouldnt be able to buy complete bikes and make money off them by parting them out, (for e.g i bought a...

1/15/2024 8:58pm Oneup has to be one of the only brands in MTB who actually give riders what they want Including the price point. Decent quality, well thought out without complication products The only thing extra thing i want from a dropper is a decent way to access the seat rail clamp bolts.

1/12/2024 3:35pm Yes, ive used both the Ritchey & FSA one - currently using the FSA in a merida 160 with External stick on guides On my last spectral i ended up using the newer Plastic Compression ring with good results - still not a huge fan of the design, its a Shame theres stupid sh1t like that to ruin a good...

1/12/2024 2:29pm I would Be all over a mainstream brand that did this. Canyon went away from it in attempt to go Headset routing on their carbon frames (spectral/torque) but they realised quickly and changed to normal setup, hence why the spectral and torque have that stupid IS52 headset that basically no brands make other than acros.

1/12/2024 2:27pm It's sad to me that the industry didn't just do what Guerilla Gravity did with the channel down the frame w/ a cover. Ease of access to all cables in a single groove & no cutting and bleeding, funneling or tunneling.
