Mwood Added a comment about feature Ultra-Long, 210mm Travel Enduro Machine - Is This the Ultimate MTB?
9/15/2020 11:24am Love this write up and would love to swing a leg over a bike like this/done for my size. Really appreciated your how-to on bar setup for SQlab bars. I love the bigger backswing but getting them set up is tough.

6/3/2020 3:43pm I too have felt some of the things you are worried about. One thing I suggest in this quandary is education. Here is a good jumping off spot-> https://nmaahc.si.edu/learn/talking-about-race/topics/being-antiracist I feel like education on the matter/following leader in minority group movements, and reading up on history has helped. If you only do one thing, this video about OUR community is...

6/3/2020 3:39pm agreed on all points. Its kind of a weird feeling wanting to be of support, but not wanting to be one of those annoying ,white SJW's who IMHO are more racist than alot of people ,because they dont think black people can accomplish anything without a white savior to scream on their behalf.

6/3/2020 11:19am i homepaged this. thank you for creating this post. i don't go on insta or social media outside of posting bike stuff. i hadn't seen eliot's video. so POWERFUL. thank you, eliot. 2:16pm - just FYI, i changed the homepage title to only have eliot's name in there. his video and words have the power of first-hand, individual, direct experience. his courage to post it at all is commendable beyond words.

6/3/2020 11:19am Thank you Theo for your work to create some diversity in the mtb media world. I always thought it was cool that you showed riders, racers, and trails that weren't mainstream. Please let us, the community, know what we can do to continue to support your work and what kind of assistance you think might be able to help bridge...

6/3/2020 11:17am All power to Eliott. Like he says "I don't see colour" is just a way of people letting their selves off the hook from having to confront the real consequences that societal structures have. I've often looked around at races and thought to myself how crazily homogeneous mountain biking is in terms of race, gender and class. Absolute solidarity

6/3/2020 11:16am In this context, there are two other brands who should share the early limelight, Specialized and SRAM. They both posted clear messages expressing their support for the current movements, knowing full well that they would antagonize a portion of their followers/customers (good riddance, I say!): View this post on Instagram Cycling has a problem with race. For decades, cycling has been a walled garden of exclusion, from the community to the lack of representation to the marketing—you name it. We’re owning that we’ve been part of that problem, and with the utmost humility, we’re acknowledging that we need to work...

6/3/2020 9:19am I encourage everyone to watch Eliot Jackson's video below and think about the mtb commuity we are part of. View this post on Instagram Full vid. This is for the cycling community. I’m exhausted and there have been so many times over the last few days where I have been ashamed to be a part of this community. I’m exhausted...

3/22/2020 9:25am these are lame but they totally work. I have the same issue in the California heat. These help a lot. There are a couple of brands out there, but it's all the same thing. Buy one and try it.

2/20/2020 9:38am Bicycle Retailer had a guest opinion piece (that link will take you to the entire article, not too long if you want the full read) Theo Jorna is the CEO of Hicle, an organization that puts together bicycle shows, including the E-Bike Challenge in Minnesota. He is very much in favor of e-bikes, in all their various forms. It was interesting to read yet another person call out the USA e-bikes as being over-powered and chide the "shred" image being used to sell bikes. Here are some excerpts from the article, quotes are in quotation marks and italics: With regard...

12/30/2019 11:30am if there is any million-dollar rider out there, it's wibmer. his project vids are bonkers (concepts, quality, riding and views), his vlogs are consistent and do well, and he's a trials showman, engaging w/ uneducated crowds, face-to-face, at demos and shows. i hope he can get anything he asks for. he deserves it IMO. (note to soccer moms and dads in MTB - if you want your kid to make any kind of actual living riding bikes, send them to trials school : )
