From a historical perspective, I'm on board with the Enduro being the GOAT for enduro type bikes. It pretty much brought the Enduro bike to the masses and was consistently big-brand trend-leading each generation. Except for maybe XC-focused triple crown fork version. Can't really argue with that. Each gen of the enduro has been rad (excl '99) vs. market competition since it came out ages and ages ago. For me the GOAT mtb is always the one you currently own if it has brakes and suspension that work properly on a regular basis.

Around 5 years on my hardtail and they have been solid. No truing, no dents, haven't touched a nipple. I think the softness reputation comes from the OEM "AR" version of these rims.

Excuse me, but no one rides a aggressive Hardtail with super stiff carbon wheels and 2,25 rear tire. Especially that rear tire choice sounds like a joke or a beginner mistake.

Noticed the first thing loose dog did when Santacruz sent him his was swapped out the 29er for a 27.5. Totally get the mullet thing but not for a jibby playful fun bike where grins are preferred over lap times

I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy seeing a rider announce his start for a race. Genuinely got my heart rate up, put a smile on my face and had me yell out loud “f*cking legend”
