Here is my final build of the fork I ordered from Eternity Titanium that I should be receiving in the next couple of weeks. It doesnt come with the shock, and I will be putting on a Rock Shox Super Deluxe Ultimate with a MegNeg kit. Except for two bearings for the swingarm and the heim joints in the brake rod, it is entirely aluminum and titanium. According to the builder/owner of Eternity Titanium it should be about 7 lbs with the Rock Shox which isnt super light but in the dual crown DH MTB fork range(which I was considering...

I just watched Bernard Kerr's finals day and there was definitely tape put from the flags to the side on the corner where Richie cut. - only 2 riders did this out of all the Pro Men and Women. So I guess you could say that it was obvious not to go outside the flags.

It might not be a high pivot bike, but it's defo got a very rearward axle path, hence the idler. I'm very happy the big S listened to the previous gen owners of the Evo. It seems they addressed all the issues we had with these great bikes. The big one was the suspension kinematic, Cascade came up with a great fix with their linkage and seems like Spec did too. Another major gripe was for some of us who overforked these things, the head angle go into the 62 degree area with was awesome when pointed down some World cup trails, but for 99% of the time resulted in front end understeer, the adjustment cups would solve this. 10/10/2020 12:40pm I've worked at trek dealers for the last 3 years. The newer alloy fuel ex bikes are an absolute joke of noise. Trek ships the bikes with all the pivot hardware as dry as humanly possible. Worked on one last week that had so many noises. My best advice is to take apart all the pivot hardware, pull the bolts...
