In addition to saying he 'lost fitness' at the DH races and didn't like how little he got to ride, Martin also mentioned that he felt enduro racing made him a better bike rider. I can see how for some the semi-blind, fully-pinned nature of EWS racing might actually translate into a sharpening of handling skills that could be beneficial in DH. Clearly it works for Martin, and I'd love to see both Sam and Richie have a go at some World Cup DH racing again.

Fuck that was brutal listening to Rob. Totally get it though. I don't even know Josh but his personality and good nature is almost like an aura around him on screen. Not to mention the guy even makes a jaded old fucker like me shake my head with some of the shit he pulls on seemingly straightforward trails. Good luck to him.

It wasn't. Actually there were different layouts and renderings floating around with a Öhlins coilshock installed, although the marketing department wants you to believe something else. Lots of people are changing out their airshocks for coilshocks, because the bike tends to wallow through the midstroke with a Vivid air or X2 installed. This is especially true with heavier riders. The spacer under the headtube possibly indicates a convertible frame that can be ridden in 27,5“ and 29“, similar as the Rockymountain DH bike. The raw spacer could well be 3/4“.

Personally I am still a huge fan of the E13 pedals that are no longer produced. Luckily I could snag an almost new pair for my DH-bike. I think they are the best feeling pedal underfoot. Maybe with standard grub screws and normal bearings it would be the perfect pedal out there.

I don't know what's more nuts: the fact that Sam chopped 10 seconds off a 2 minute stage, or 25 seconds off a 5 minute stage.

Is Bruni off Redbull? In the latest IG storys from Blenki and Bulldog he was wearing a normal red XC helmet. Could also be a spare helmet but seemes strange really. Finn is rocking the redbull colors.
