The broadcast Sunday was 3.5 hours long, if we add anymore riders to finals we will lose time seen of each run which I believe they have done better this year longer gaps with less riders you get to see more full runs. They aren't going to add more riders and make it a 5 hour broadcast. If you are saying you want a 60 men and 20 female rider final broadcast you need to be honest with yourself would you really be dialed in and super invested into these 80 runs? You are more than likely really only perked...

I don’t think the hate is unwarranted. these guys have greatly decreased interest in enduro “making it more professional” and they are ruining dh “making it a better broadcast”. There are going to be a lot of lost pro racers, mechanics, team managers, etc as the field continually gets cut. and as great as monster pro, ixs, dhse series are I don’t see how they will offer sponsors the same eyeballs or prestige the World Cup does. I think they have made really questionable choices in terms of broadcasting rights. And while I’m not totally against pay to watch services...

Hate seeing "30" riders knowing full well a shake up from a guy in the top 60 ALWAYS happened in the past. Massive amount of alienation occurring with countries across the globe & teams who have no reason to come to or watch the same 3 French guys descend home turf. Because that phase of the season is going to look awesome to some(the French), but it's gonna be garbage for the rest of the world w/ the top 30 format. I actually got a MAX sub yesterday to watch the race and I was talking to a buddy who's a non-rider about the difference between Redbull and Discovery. Here's my take based on year 2 of Discovery for those that care. 1. Cameras are good and improving 2. Commentating is improving, especially with Gwin, although I'm not a Rich fan. He'd be great if he dialed a back on the quips. 3. Race format needs refined more, either get rid of Semi's or broadcast them. I really hope that's the case as a last chance qualifier could be really exciting, if they broadcast it . Even if it doesn't fit on a broadcast length TV show then at least a live stream on you tube is surely doable. I watched the first couple of semis last year but even for a fairly dedicated fan I found it far to much time out of my day and pretty soon was watching just the finals . This can't be sustainable for teams either , MS intense and Intense factory racing with no riders through to race day...

Am I the only one who thinks waiting so long to announce this stuff has actually kind of taken the excitement out of it? I was pretty pumped after the new years but the excitement has kind of wore off now.
