2/1/2026 8:25am I have to believe it was a different group than the people behind that wild team portrait campaign. Holy shit. That was risky and confident, this is the laziest and most insecure route possible. Come on. I’ll let you do the Viking thing, the Slayer thing, the angsty teen flipping the bird on foggy train tracks thing, but only if it comes with a wink…this really is completely earnest. Which is hilarious. Who’s the dork cyclist CEO who insisted on this? The only way out is to continue with Minnaar doing this same shit. Get the quarter zip man who...

2/1/2026 8:24am No downvoting from me. Everyone has different taste and there's nothing wrong with that! Brage - that's fair. I think he's the right balance between lots of prep, insane riding skill and willingness to send it. I think he's far more calculating than it looks like in his riding. I think Gee is kinda similar, but I legitimately think that man needs some therapy to work out that death wish he seems to have. Lol Tippie - can't get on board with your take. By every single person who's spent time interacting with him, living near him, riding with him...

1/31/2026 6:28pm Race team vibe im here for. Brage just doesn’t do it for me. The metal, the vibe, the approach turns me off. Riding is mental but the style is not there for me - I’m sure I’ll get torched for this take but it’s just how I feel. Tippe is the same…we get it, you’re that guy. But to be...

1/31/2026 5:45pm Hope they can sort it out. The bikes have been amazing last 4-5 years when they finally moved away from knock block. Some of the best in each category.

1/31/2026 5:44pm RE: Trek, the owned retail is a massive problem. I know that Trek owned stores in the EU numbered 32 in 2021, 62 in 2022, was planned for 112 by end of '23, 162 by end of '24, and 212 by end of '25. I don't know how many they actually acquired or opened, or how many remain open. I have to imagine the numbers in the US are considerably higher.

1/31/2026 5:40pm Man it’s wild how the marketing works / doesn’t and on who. No interest in those guys in the slightest, both annoy me frankly. But then a guy like greg would get me to consider buying any bike. ..well done Norco.

1/29/2026 6:05am Perfectly captured. I think the TQ60 falls in the same camp…I want to want it, but I could just train a bit and save the money.

1/29/2026 6:04am Thanks for including your heart rate stats! That pretty much tells you what I needed to know that the assist is minimal and probably negligible if you are a fit rider. I am 100 percent with you on "likes to pedal, doesn't love how full-size e-bikes handle, and is down with some bigger travel". Someone who hates to pedal obviously would never buy this and someone fit enough to pedal an enduro bike on big days probably doesn't need this. At a more affordable option I can see this being more intriguing for riders who like to pedal big bikes.

1/29/2026 6:02am Innnnnteresting. I recently bought another amish bike, because I worry I'll switch to ebikes and never go back. I want to pedal for a few more years before I give in and admit that I can't pedal very hard anymore. The climbs kill me. Having something like this might be a good way to stave off that eventual concession to Father Time. It would be like a regular bike ridden by my 25 year-old self. IDK if it's worth $10,000 as a stepping stone to the eventual full-ebike, though.

1/29/2026 6:02am This is where I thought e-bikes would go when they first started to gain popularity, a bike with a splash of assistance, not a motor with a frame attached to it

1/29/2026 6:01am RS stands for really stupid. You either are an e-bike rider or you are not. If you are not don’t comment.

1/29/2026 6:01am Too close to a normal long travel enduro bike to make sense to me. 60nM / 350W assist is my lower threshold for assist if I’m buying an eeb. Ideally for me would be 70nm / 450W with range that could do 5k-6k vert that weighs 45lbs

1/27/2026 6:55am He’s not marketable that’s why. None of the free ride guys really are. They are sick sure…but for the average Joe it’s not selling bikes.

1/27/2026 6:53am The downside to low lactose is that lactose is what helps cause cheesy dreams. I thought I recalled DJI saying they did not want to be a bike brand, and just wanted to sell a motor. I've always assumed they would fold out of cycling at some point when their motor ecosystems are more distributed and appreciated.

1/27/2026 6:29am They are from the great state of Utah. You do the math on that one. Joseph Smith was born in Vermont. His manifest destiny was to inspire others to build the greatest bike brand of all time in the valley. Taking no prisoners on the way.

1/23/2026 11:35am Hi, long time WC media guy here (14 years long).. I'm also very curious to hear some names and facts about this from you But in the meantime let me share some of my own. Each team is allowed to register photographers and videographers (each team then receives a set number of photo and video bibs for the season). if someone doesnt work for a team they can register as independent media once they have letters of assignment from a verified media outlet. there are little to no restrictions as to what can be shot/posted. This hasnt changed since the...
