I recently posted and got quite a down voting in reference to the quality of Wyn TV. One of the reasons why I posted was because of the increasing amount of engagement bait in his content. One particular example was when he interviewed Daprela in Poland, although I didn't mention it on the post. I'll still give Wyn the benefit of the doubt, at least until it should ever happen again. As far as I've seen, he's the only independent race content creator who has platformed Daprela. I certainly haven't seen him on FastAF or any other French vlogs that...

The fascination with Dak, Gwin and BK on this forum is wild and getting so boring! The pivot team are wearing different helmets who cares they are a team and they are racing, I’m sure the way that the bike industry is going people are getting sponsors but can wrangle a deal with other companies if they want, like in most sports they play for the same teams but they don’t have to wear the same boots/shoes/goggles

Who said they're making more money elsewhere? Neither of the two you mentioned is falling back on lucrative careers. They're quitting the race scene so they can hopefully find a paycheck doing something else in the bike world (since they're not getting paid well/at all from racing anymore).

I dont think the bike will make a big deviation per se, but no one can deny that in terms of setup tuning, data adquisition, team supoort, line scouting, etc Conmencal Mucoff is far ahead. It will be interesting to see how much of a gap It makes.

Will be interesting contrast for Dylan going from what looks like one of the most professional teams to what looks like the most unprofessional. The Pivot DH bike does look pretty sick. If Dylan can put his head down and not get caught up in team drama he should be good.

I really like Greenland but not surprised he hasn’t been picked up. He hasn’t had the results recently and his legacy results aren’t good enough to earn him a spot for the “potential” to still get top results, especially with the new age kids. He’s still fun to watch and I hope he continues to get hardline opportunities and the like. As I write this, I realize that he could still end up on Atherton, but not sure what the ROI would be except for maybe bike dev.

I generally recommend everyone has a full overhaul once a year - if you ride a ton then also do a lowers service at 6 months, and that covers 99% of people. You can't tell when a damper NEEDS a service, only when it should have been serviced about 6 months ago. And catastrophic failures always come at the worst time - right before or during a big ride/race/holiday Damper oil breaks down and starts to wear out parts like the inside of the damper tube - and usually feel fine right up until the point they have done major...
