Excited for Kolb to be on syndicate. Imo, the V10 is a more capable bike compared to the Tues and the team vibes seem great too.

No, we haven’t been measuring sag wrong. Any method of measuring sag that is repeatable is an acceptable way to measure sag. As it is something that must be tuned as opposed to setting to a specific percentage, being able to repeatably measure sag is the most important thing. You can do this seated and measuring at the shock just fine. If someone wants to measure it with a whole bunch of kit that’s fine, but telling everyone they are wrong and do it wrong is silly. Thanks for posting the note about proper setup of that guide. In addition to fixing the spacing, Slash owners should rotate the guide clockwise so that it's increasing chainwrap on the chainring and countering chain growth. The former for better chain retention, and the latter for the overall performance of the Transmission system. A gap of 10-24mm from the bottom of the chainstay to the top of the roller, depending on frame size and drivetrain, is what we advise.
