If only a few details have changed from the actual Trick Stuff brakes, wouldn't that mean they probably work about the same and just look a bit different? While the similarities are undeniable, these seem like a really cool and affordable option so long as we don't see Intense Factory riders flying off the track or blowing up sets of brakes throughout the year, .

Always funny when pro athletes describe their aluminum frame as a performance advantage. They need to get in touch with the marketing dept so they can discover what they're feeling is wrong.

Love how that thing looks much more like a rig which has been shuttling for the past 3-4 years than a factory race bike

Hello! Nothing to say other than that I really appreciate your message. To be completely honest, I also wrote an email to you guys regarding this, as I am a firm believer in giving feedback, even if sometimes it is about minor stuff like this. I have DT hubs from various generations, including early Hügis that are heading towards a retro build, Hügi FR's and what not. I actually have more hubs that we probably have space to discuss about here and I have appreciation for most of them. When it comes to how they feel on the trail, my...

I think you might want to review why you made the decision to buy this hub and if you actually like it. If you bought the hub because you want the newest bling, you are right to complain because you don't have the newest bling any more. But having the newest bling is always expensive and you have to keep buying new stuff all the time because new products are released very often especially the hubs these days. If you love the hub, then what are you even talking about? You even questioned why anyone even needs this many engagement...

I bought the hub because I knew it was good, I got an excellent price for it (under 200 EUR new, with 54T ratchet upgrade) and I do like it. I never buy things because ”they are the newest bling”, if I was, I'd be in i9, not DT market territory. I try to buy stuff that is reliable, has a good reputation and is not so rare that I need to get out of my way for spare parts. What I am questioning here is the line of communication from DT, as it seems to be contradictory: ”look, this...

As much as I respect DT Swiss and own quite a few of their hubs, this bit of news kinda annoys me. Let me tell you why. First, I am honestly asking: WHY the hell do we NEED such fine engagement on our hubs? This is one the most first-world-issues of mountainbiking: to have ”fst engaging hubs”! Guys, we could ride in the past with the less fast engaging ones and it was no problem, really. I mean, honestly, are we getting to a point where we dare saying a Chris King hub is not fast engaging enough, because, wait...

If it doesn't come with a 14 speed cassette I'm not interested. As a side note Allen Millyard is now regularly to be seen on a UK TV show where he uses his engineering prowess working on old bikes and cars. You also get to see his 8000cc 500bhp V10 motor cycle (Dodge Viper engine, nuts)!

To each his own, I guess. I like this combo, but in this phase I am more of a black on black guy. So I dig if bike companies have for each model a neutral color combo plus a wilder one. What I noticed at Rocky is that all the colors have names of classic rock songs. I don't know if they ar doing it since this year or if it is a longer running thing, but it is cool AF. It also reminds me of the metal days of Nitro Snowboards, when each year their clothing lineup had names...
