I believe the situation is good for pivot factory. It's well known that BK does everything on a very small budget compared to other major brands. Even without exceptional results, it brings great visibility to the brand (I think Jenna's story is only noticed by sports nerds), and now Roger has brought a new perspective. For 2026, it's a big question mark. After all, there won't be enough points, so something will change: either there will be investment in new names, or it will become a wildcard team, continuing with reduced investment and some visibility in the pits.

Super boost and short chain stays would stop me from buying a Pivot before anything Bernard did.. I wouldn't date anyone that young, but I'm a lot older than he is.. We assume things are questionable, but laws are different everywhere. Sexual assault is a whole different thing..

Going from Bernard to daprela would be the worst look ever. Bernard’s stuff is a bit questionable but you kind of just got to wait and see and Jenna can make her own choices. But to go from someone with a large age gap relationship with questionable beginnings to a guy with sexual assault allegations would be wildly irresponsible in modern times. I really doubt either Bernard or pivot would benefit from exiting the relationship at this time. I think the people on this forum have far stronger opinions on the subject than 95 percent of mtbers including women. And...

While we can speculate about that the truth is simple, there is no replacing Nino... Scott will have new good riders, but I doubt anyone will be able to dominate the scene for 15 years again! And even if one comes up he will most likely be snatched by road millions (like Pidcock and Van Der Poel).

7/16/2025 2:51pm I find it very ironical and super hypocritical for somebody like the YT main guy to whine about ”discount wars”, when they basically were the ones who brought this aggressive pricing strategy to the market. Dude, are you for real??? I honestly hope everybody will be OK after this, but I can't remember all the direct-to-consumer brands being too sympathetic...

Friend of mine ordered a capra core 2 carbon for 3000 or so, order was „in progress“ for quite a bit, bike went further on sale for 2500, she cancelled the original order and then reordered for the cheaper price, bike arrived in a few days. I built it up and from my first impression it’s the perfect not-quite-beginner-anymore bike with good parts and upgrade potential for a killer price but I was also wondering how this could be economical when a similar spec from specialized is double the price.

It seems like the chaotic variable pricing from many bike industry companies is not really helping the industry and only causes confusion and often resentment from customers. Dumping massive overstock or a big end of the year sale is one thing, but pricing that jumps around month to month is not the same. For example, when PUSH released the 9.1 it was $2600. Earlier this year it was "on sale" for 2-3 months at $2000, currently the price is $2250. If a customer had bought one for $2600, only to see it for $2000 a week later, I imagine they...
