It was speculated the double caliper thing was to A/B test new calipers, with a switch somewhere. I'm no hydraulics engineer so I don't know if it would work... AXS makes a lot of sense on DH, waiting for them to finally reveal it

has this made the rounds? tyler morland's (SRAM lifer) DH bike from insta. AXS w/ short cage and it has those big crazy anti-lock smart brakes w/ covers we saw a bit ago (i'm kidding about anti-lock smart)

Agree, keep the politics and American outrage at one another over on Pinkbike comments. I like Vital because it doesn't have all that bullshit. Hopefully it stays that way.

Been a member here for a while. Liked the vibe and hope new members don't ruin it. I see a lot of new members stating they lurked and only now joining because PB got acquired. What does that say about their credibility and value offering? Moderators hope you are ready for the work.

So are racist opinions justifiable because their opinions? Sorry bud but I don’t think we need to create a safe space for racists to be assholes. Racists posts using the n-word is not ok on any form of media. No normal person wants to read that. And unfortunately quite a lot of people are genuinely hurt by it. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean the public has to allow you to broadcast your opinions or that their aren’t consequences to what you choose to say. Just something to think about. Gonna drop it here.

Other than his occasional extremely transparent racist posts I couldn’t care about waki. Who cares if someone posts a lot you don’t have to read their comments. But that dude said obscene shit time to time. Pinkbike never did a good enough job of moderating comments. Absolutely deserved to be called out during the Floyd protests. Multiple times I’d reach out to mods about blatantly racist posts (often including the n-word) and never was anyone banned and most the time the post wasn’t even removed. Seems people think the Chromag will be a FS kid's bike. In a plot twist I'm going to bring PB info to Vital with: https://chromagbikes.com/pages/minor-threat-builds People copy pasted before it was taken down, seems it'll be 24", 26" bike. Could be a good sign for things to come from Chromag?

I'm thinking of a future where Vital comments have a lot more posts. I hear ya on the mob/popularity downside. Maybe just leave the comments as-is, and figure out pain points when/if the number of comments increases significantly.

If the Vital crew plays their hand right, they´re the next big thing in mtb media. Bump up those servers, get on those tests, maybe promote your team more and get some respected industry folks/racers/personalities on board. Oh and get yourselves a Ben Cathro! (Just my 2cents, but i could see Phil Kmetz be a great fit with vital!) That´s all.
