This is something that is very useful to know and I appreciate the companies that make it easy to access. A lot of people want to either upgrade the shock or bring over a high end damper they already own. So this makes it much easier to get that person set up properly if the bike company hasn't already supplied detailed settings and spring rates for that shock

I’m not sure designers think this way. High power and torque is gonna make the backwards weight shift a lot more aggressive when you accelerate. I could see bike companies favoring higher antisquat since the added mass could mask increased chain tension anyway

Look, it seems to me that Luckey's primary motivation for this kind of wild speculation is to drive business to his ghoulish defense contracting company. I do agree with you that geopolitical expertise is often the domain of people with shaky track records, but also posit that any intelligence sources he's "privy" to might not be of the highest quality considering that his sources are probably a cadre of right-wing media grifters turned agency administrators in leadership roles at US intelligence and defense agencies that already have their own reliability issues. I actually do consume a lot of information from...

Fortunately there are more reliable sources for geopolitical news than a steroid-addled former comedian and a mediocre electrical engineer

More than the feel in your feet from chain growth unbalancing you, that kickback is indicative of a restriction on the free movement of the suspension system. Therefore, the bike doesn't track as well, especially on low speed compressions.

are brakes translucent? what's up with the ex471 logos? why is the seatpost collar that high? where are the cranks? does one of the cables/brake lines go to the fork? what makes such a large shadow on the non-drive side? So many questions, and I hope the answer isnt the obvaious one ...

This seems like something that will give you all the downsides of both linkage and telescopic forks in exchange for some anti dive. But telescopic forks are getting pretty good at mid stroke anyway

Great review by the way, I've been enjoying a lot of the recent reviews on here, especially with the follow up discussions that add more detail and long term impression of the product in the real world! It feels much more useful for the end user, or someone like me who is selling product but doesn't get to spend a lot of time on every single new thing that gets launched

My guess is that NOBL isn't footing the billl. Evil is getting the rims (maybe at a discount) to replace the loopholes as needed. NOBL gets good press at helping to support the wheels, Evil has a partner to help support, and long term NOBL I am guessing becomes an OE partner for EVIL as well. Really doubt that NOBL is warrantying rims without being reimbursed in some way.

I have a real hard time believing AI is going to result in some sort of utopia for the masses. There's enough money right now that we could all get some level of UBI and be working less and spending more time on our passion projects. But when have the ultra wealthy EVER wanted to part with even a little bit more of their money? If we just give them a few more tax breaks to pay for their data centers and help subsidize the cost of the electricity and water to run them so they can become trillionaires, THEN...

" The majority of jobs will be things where robots are just too expensive to do what a human can do with their hands." Ohhh man, we're all about to get a pretty rude awaking on this front. I really cannot understate how much of a wrecking ball AI will be across all industries, and I say that because I'm in the AI industry for work. Hearing what our investors are saying, and how we are positioning our company internally has me legit scared for a lot of people's jobs. White color is by far going to be the first...
