Okay so maybe a reach here but.. maybe not. What if Gwin has his own team again? With Dak and Seth as riders. Intense frames, with some other major/title sponsor (possibly outside of MTB?), along with all the component sponsorship like he has done in the past. Gwin beats to his own drum and his done well financially (it seems) doing his own deal rather than answering to an established team, etc. He also seems to enjoy working with smaller brands to do that development work and get things exactly the way he wants. Neko said it well in his...

Or is he going to find a team that will just let him race and focus on nothing but racing to finish out his career?

There's a thread talking about the financial woes of the industry: https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/hub/will-more-companies-be-shutting-dow…

If Dak winds up on Mondraker, I have the same concerned sentiment of others about the bike not getting along with riders. But to be clear, BullDog was on a full proto & I assume the team will be on custom length frames but OEM geometry to start the season & they'll give them all varying rear linkages to try. And for the reason BullDog didn't get along with the proto, I'm not fan of announcing Dak to their team if/when that hashes out. Would rather he land on a proven design. I can only assume that whoever he elects...

Dylan to Commencal was leaked yesterday in this thread. Dharco and Thredbo bike park posted it.

Well I guess my theory on Dak being in a good spot meant he's getting paaaaaaaaidddddd

ALN and two extremely fast Canadian young guns will form a wicked fast team aboard a ski company?

I was similar in not wanting him on a Mondraker. I’ve made peace with it now, though. Sick team for the year, and I hope the bike is equally sick and capable.

Thank you!

Congrats stinky Pinky, hope you kill it this year in elite! #USDH

Thredbo mtb just let slip that Dylan maples coming down under with commencal muc off team.

lol when an Aussie company is a day ahead and jumps the gun

ALN leaving Rocky because they're clearing space for Gwin on a new maiden. Now we know why he was in Vancouver a few months back. Kidding
