1/14/2025 1:58pm Thomson everything. I think Bruni still runs the seatpost?

1/14/2025 11:33am Alleged, not charged and no conviction Roque Racing, small team and I assume a small budget. Maybe his “baggage” priced him into a smaller lesser known team. Antonio Brown of the NFL was convicted of assault charges on his wife and the NFL still let the guy play. Not alleged, convicted. Give TD a chance until he’s charged and convicted. Too much bashing of riders on the forum based on speculation and not facts. Leaning into slander in some cases imo

1/14/2025 3:30am To me it was clear it was SRAM, he was a Blackbox athlete, all that jazz. But you make an interesting assessment here and I could be in the wrong. And thinking of that, I realise that Stikman is very active on this forum, works for SRAM (although not with athletes, from what I understand) and I just couldn't picture somebody in that environment ignoring Sam. But it seems weird him not listing SRAM as support... Mx

1/13/2025 2:23pm Try 10 years.. Sam was on Nukeproof from 2013-2023 and Sram/Rockshox for nearly 20 years (2005ish to 2024?) Regardless, stoked to see him and some other "old dogs" race Hardline in less than a month edit, apparently I can't count because 13-23 is 11 seasons

1/12/2025 12:35pm Is the one piece rocker carbon or aluminium? It makes sense to have a hole for the latter but makes sense not to for the former. As far as I can see, looks like they use a brace on the seatstay and as you said no brace between the two rocker sides on most bikes. This is mostly because the seat tube goes right through the middle of the rocker on most (pedalable) bikes not giving any space for a brace between the two sides. The bike on the lift has a pronounced (DH-esque) kink in the seat tube giving...

1/12/2025 12:35pm Transition have used solid side plane rockers as far as I know for 4+ years now. This one has a massive hole through it, which is very unlike their designs. The biggest change recently is the new sentinel has a one piece rocker whereas they've used 2 piece rockers for a while, but even then it doesn't have the hole in it. The avil bar and stem is a weird one. The TR11 and Spire are on sale from transition so it's highly likely they have a new frame on the way, but I'd imagine it would be more similar...

1/12/2025 9:26am The rocker looks dead straight like a Transition and at the time it was concluded it's a transition proto. Either way, it doesn't look like what Orbea posted, not even close. To be an Orbea mule it's far too refined (rocker) and then why make the rocker different on a serious product (close to or ready for production) if that is an expensive part to remake? Plus, looks like the downtube is fat af...

1/12/2025 4:58am Yeah upon closer inspection it is almost certainly a transition. The frame lines look quite different from the Max Grayston shots above, and the rocker is completely different to the Orbea. The tube set is almost identical to the patrol alloy, and the anvl kit is surely the nail in the coffin.

1/11/2025 4:55pm Here's a better picture. I downloaded this in September and I have no idea where I got it. I made a whole post about it yesterday but I deleted it because my speculation was based upon the rocker looking like the Wild. This is likely an aluminium mule.

1/11/2025 4:55pm No high pivot, no idler, no flip-chip, no bonded lugs, no belt, no cable tourism, only four bars and a single chain? Will they even be able to ride that thing?

1/11/2025 12:50pm Looks like there’s an Orbea DH bike ready after all.

1/11/2025 8:34am I’m sure Danny will be on the full TRP package. Maybe some supply issues so he’s just used whatever he can get his hands on to get the bike built up.
