In college, I lived relatively close to Cane Creek's HQ when the original double barrel was created. I was fortunate enough to ride with a bunch of riders that were the first to get the shock, at that time North Carolina had multiple National Champions in DH and Slalom and they were all running the DB. Gerritt Beytagh even had a one-off itty bitty DB on his slalom bike. Ohlins US headquarters is in Hendersonville NC which is about 20 minutes from Cane Creek's HQ in Fletcher. I also seem to remember that Luca Shaw's dad worked for Ohlins USA...

Ronan Dunne is running an air shock on his, and he certainly ain’t slow. Also air makes more sense to the mass market rather than ship each size with a set spring rate and hope it works

Sam Hill on the prototype caliper last weekend here in Oz def no writing on it thou even at 400%, I also love how the new Dissent Carbon is marketed and sold with only air shocks and their best rider is running coil.
