Thats how I read it as well, then the mount has a pinch bolt to clamp over that big post. Everyone stating this solves "complex" brake post alignment issues, the distance/angle between 400 and 426 will be very critical. UDH solved the issue of every bike having different and expensive hangers, we already have a universal brake mount its called posts and slotted holes on the caliper, its literally as universal as it gets you can adjust it and add spacers for different disc sizes and adjust for alignment issues.

Here’s a rumour: Fox and Rockshox are both working on something new. Bravo kiddo Let’s state the obvious. Is this really the level that we’ve sunk to now.

You’re not posting rumours. You’re just gossiping and stirring. Either post something useful and insightful or don’t bother. The “I’ve got a secret but I’m not telling anyone” is just a bit pathetic and more than childish. It’s fine if you can’t say anything, but if that’s the case just be a adult and shush. This thread is clogged up enough as it is. Lets face it, every major player is working on something so we can all post that quite easily!

With the arrival of 2025 and big changes underway, here's a quick look back at how team and rider numbers have evolved over the years. All data pulled from the UCI website (https://www.uci.org/riders/mountain-bike-riders-teams/1V5hGPnEvXzbIqkjU…). The number of teams peaked in 2023 with a total of 184 (128 standard, 56 elite). 2024 saw the second highest number of teams on record with 163 (112 standard, 51 elite). The bike bubble bursting was already beginning to have an effect going into the 2024 season, even with the upcoming Olympic games. The growth in teams from 2021 (119 teams) to 2023 (184 teams) likely...

I’m confused by why you guys are promoting some Chinese knockoff electronic shifting on Instagram, doesn’t seem very on brand.

"This model has no bite point adjustment like on Hope’s Tech 3 levers (which effectively changes where the pads sit in relation to the rotor)" Come on man, don't spread this nonsense around. Distance between pads is entirely determined by the caliper piston seals. Bite point adjust merely adjusts the location of the master cylinder relative to the timing port in the lever.

Dear bike companies: Don't put out press releases for products not available for 4-5 months. Especially when 'end of northern hemisphere riding season' is your release date.

Feel the same way. High-pivot with 100% anti-squat and a gear box might be just too good thing to materialize. Another chance would be enduro-version of Commencals dh-frame, but can't hold my breath with that coming to reality either. Also sad to hear that they need to design frame to not to confuse people, I thought Orange Bikes and others with non-linkage singlepivots were catering fine for those people...
