12/22/2024 2:39pm I wanted to start a forum for current, future, or potential Stumpjumper 15 owners to compile questions, answers, tips, problems, etc. Below is overarching information about the bike and our coverage of the bike thus far. ▪️Overall Details - Carbon models - Alloy models - 145mm of rear wheel travel // 150mm fork (160mm compatible) - S1/S2 - mixed wheel only // S3-S6 - 29-inch (mixed wheel compatible with aftermarket link) - FOX Float with Specialized patent-pending GENIE shock on most models - Coil models available (FOX & Öhlins) - S1 - 210x52.5 shock // S2-S6 - 210x55 shock -...

11/16/2024 2:35pm high roller 3 seems like a Maxxis Magic Mary. New Schwalbe Magic Mary Gravity Pro Radial feels a lot better than Maxxis Assegai DH Maxxgrip in similar pressures. Upped the pressures after breaking a rim and found the rear very harsh, 24psi front and 27.5-28 rear Maxxis Assegai DH Maxxgrip. The same pressures a Schwalbe Magic Mary Gravity Pro Radial...

11/16/2024 2:24pm I’ve been running nothing but DH super soft Kryptotal FR / Xynotal and have started to question if the casing is too stiff for me during harder riding. Over 16psi and the ride quality noticeably diminishes. I’m thinking of trying out these new Schwalbe radials. Magic Mary gravity super soft / Albert gravity soft front and rear respectively. Hoping it would let me run at least 20psi with similar performance?

9/25/2024 6:38am Really enjoyable bike check, I still think this bike would be slower than my 28# AM bike 98% of the time where I ride, but your experience may vary. I've had lots of front end traction problems with short stems and very slack bikes, but maybe this is because they have all been combined with short chainstays? Would LOVE to ride this thing.

9/3/2024 2:51am Yup, no Manitou, EXT, Push, Intend, Bright Racing, MRP, or Temu knock-offs. But that just means they're on the list to review in the future 🤙

9/3/2024 2:54am Same here, came from Fox36 (never liked the grip2) and Ext Era v2 and first run Zeb Ultimate -23 was better. Since then checked bushings after a year and were still good, tuned the damper and the result I think is closer to the 3.1. 78 kitted, 65psi, 170 fork, now with m-tech tuned damper (mid valving) from closed LSC +2, HSC +2, rebound -11, or compression from mid LSC +5, HSC 0

9/3/2024 2:44am Thats interesting to hear, Ive only had that experience with my Zeb after a year and a half of riding with no service on it. I imagine there is quite a bit of variance with the higher production volume stuff and the chance of getting a lemon is much higher. Ive found the benefit of Rockshox stuff is the ability to run high pressure without sacrificing traction.

8/18/2024 8:05am Congrats, that color looks great! I've had kind of a ridiculous number of bikes and my Kavenz has to be close to if not my all time favorite. It's definitely remained in the rotation longer than anything I can remember, this is it's 4th season. So many options in such a simple looking bike. Lighter and more durable than the carbon equivalents, 1 size bearing used in every pivot, easy travel/geo changes, etc. I've ridden massive 8k foot days on it, raced Trans BC and Trans Cascadia, podiumed at the Purgatory BME, and just did 120,000+ feet of descending in...

8/13/2024 1:30am Just get the Assegai DH Bikepark, that's the dual rubber compound! For faster rolling Maxxis Agressor has dual compound and DD but would be nice in DH.

7/4/2024 3:21am I've been doing the same thing. Using the shitty plastic SRAM UDH hanger you can just rasp off the plastic axle guide in seconds and it works. Don't need to go all the way down, you can leave a little lip to guide the axle. I'm a fan of the smaller jump up to the 52t and how the Transmission cassette shifts when mashing up a tech climb. But mostly I just wanted to see if I could make it work. Sloppy GX derailleurs: when your GX mech is new, buy (or poach) an X01 B-bolt, they're about $25. The...

3/18/2024 3:00am The adverse publicity just from the allegation may have been enough for them to let him go. I would have thought he would've been charged by now if the police (and the prosecution service) believed there was a case, seeing as this goes all the way back to last summer. From what I've seen he hasn't been, although I don't know if laws on confidentiality are different in France to the UK. I say this because a guy I know was falsely accused of rape, was charged and named by the press within a couple of weeks of the accusation...
