Not to sound disrespectful but I disagree with a lot of what you write. You are overlooking many fine details... 1) "Doping for road" (EG, HGH, EPO, Steroid use) would *absolutely* have a positive impact on athlete performance in enduro racing. I really don't see how you could argue otherwise. Have you done an EWS level race? Many are soul crushing. The hardest efforts I've ever put forth on a bike have been in enduro racing. Most of my friends who have also raced for a long time in multiple disciplines concur. Allowing your body to use more oxygen (EPO)...

That is a silly idea. It just takes time to investigate. And I actually like the idea that not every sponsor drops athletes before a proper investigation result has been presented. And even then I hope that the sponsors will carefully reflect in what are their options and for what reasons. Droping athletes just to show the world that you are a brand that wants a clean sport is more Festina and the 90s than 2020is

I ride a Transition Sentinel with a 450mm reach and a degree head angle. Initially, when I demo'd the bike, I had the same issue as you, I struggled to weight the front end...

Yeah I do wonder if Trek's sizing is a little dated. I rode a friend's 2018 Session XL I few months ago and it felt really small. Trek and Spesh seem reluctant to make a DH bike with modern numbers. By their current standards, they'd need to make in XXXL to fit me and not a giant at 6'2"

One of the few and true legends of our sport. In his reference to sleeping on tiles in 2003 while on Madcatz, they used to come up to us time to time in Laguna beach and have a luxury weekend away. We had mattresses, pillows and carpets to sleep on....
