Yes, I have gone between the Galfer wave and the TRP SE05’s. Both work great, they are on different wheel sets currently. I will replace the galfers with TRP’s once the galfers are done. I know the frameworks team was running a mix of both, waves and sharks of which the TRP’s are a clone of last year when they were running dominions. I couldn’t tell a real difference between the two sets but the price of the TRP’s is better and they are really true and I haven’t had to touch them at all.

5/16/2025 7:01am Keep in mind that when you are facing the mounts, you are removing material. Hopefully it's not too much but you might need to modify your spacers afterwards to make sure the pads contact correctly, like those hope brakes from before.

5/15/2025 5:43pm Facing is best done with special tools that ensure that the mount is level when you're done, but if you're really careful and don't mind ruining the mounts if you mess up, you could try to do it with a file.

5/10/2025 1:56pm Closest I've gotten is filing down Shimano and Magura Calipers so hope rotor rivets clear them. I bet you could, probably would recommend using a drill press and vise to make sure it's lined up well, but honestly, those screws haven't done much for me, they tend to move around under vibration

Seem to not take the heat very well even compared to other simple non floating steel rotors.
