In 2018/2019, six of us bought Levos/Kenevos. We were all existing mountain bikers since the late 90s, we hardly used turbo because of range, none of us were on the heavier side, and we knew how to change gears. All motors failed.

The guy there, he is a total E-Motor nerd, said that especially early Brose motors had issues with the bearings on the axle that drives the belt. Therefore the belt started to wander and destroy itself. You could feel it once you opened up the housing from the belt...

They're not new to ebikes as a manufacturer, but most of their work has been selling white label motors to other companies, kind of like Brose was focusing on for a while. For example, Gobao makes the motor for the Aventon bikes that Tippie is riding now.

I worked at a bikeshop nd was super pumped, that must have been 2013/2014, so at least externally this brake has barely changed over at least 12 years, crazy! Absolute stunner of a build! I've been wanting to try riding one these. Even been tempted to get a Starling Spur to also test out an offset gearbox set up like this. Looks like a great time on the trails
