Hi! Seat Stay has no arch, but the rocker is quite heavy. Chain Stay has an arch, welded on my bike. The latest vesion has a machining arch, heavier, and stiffer. I like a little flex at the rer end, but I don't jump or do some heavy sends, I think. For this reason I have carbon rims. I hope it helps. https://zupimages.net/up/24/13/49ah.jpg

I have not tried a Pinion, only a rohloff many many years ago, but 2 french guys have tried both, Pinion & Effigear, and they have prefered Effigear (french forum shared there : https://forum.velovert.com/topic/158636-cavalerie-%e2%80%93-velos-franc… ). Effigear is really efficient. V1 was efficient, and little noisy, less after break-in. But the V2 is more silent, more fluid without break-in. So I am really positiv with these new one. The bike is a bit heavy, but not negative when you ride, only if you put the bike on your back :-)

I'm verry happy with it, I had a V1 Anakin during 2015 2016 2017. These V2 is better on all points, do you read french?
