1/10/2019 7:57pm I believe people have then tendency to forget that some of the World Cup people who are not on upper shelf contracts still have full time jobs in the off-season, in order to afford all that racing that we all love. Anyone remember how Tracey Hannah worked two years in a mine in Australia so she can pay back all the money she spent in one pretty successful (but not financially backed enough) season??? Look for an interview with Miranda and you will learn how she works full time in a bike shop. Before being on the big Specialized team...

1/9/2019 3:25pm That's not really a theory, based on the syndicate, commencal and Gee's posts they clearly have an eye on things, at the very least they need to make sure info doesn't leak (Do you remember when Sam Hill's move to CRC was leaked weeks before the intended date :/ ). But I think it is weird that many companies are waiting until the very last minute, did you really spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a team and then just wait for the UCI team listing to announce it for you in a spreadsheet? Or else wait until the...

1/7/2019 5:38pm Miranda Miller to Kona. On her STRAVA, she has her bike as KP29. Did a little bit of googling, and came across the Kona Process 29. Seems to match up with the Kona rumors from a week or so ago.

1/2/2019 3:41pm Spot on! While I am obviously no expert in MTB World Cup budgets and salaries, I think the money and the logistics behind supporting three top riders must be huge, respectively complicated. So I also don't think there is any warranty that Neko has a spot on whatever team Gwin will be on. And while I have zero concerns for Gwin and if he ends up in a good place, I really really REALLY wish the lesser hyped guys like Neko to find a program and do well and continue racing. I mean, isn't this dude pretty fucking awesome? He...

1/2/2019 3:37pm If Moir, Gwin and Neko all get together on a solid intense platform, they will have a very strong team that can take on the almighty Syndicate!!!!! Then maybe they will defeat Thanos after that, who knows?1?

12/28/2018 4:12pm Racing Facts: Transition Bikes Welcomes Marco Osborne to the TR Family
Marco Osborne s likely one of the most frequently mentioned riders on the mountain bike internet at the moment, but a lot of those folks don't even realize they're talking about him.
One might know him better as Randy. Aka Send It Randy. Yes, that's the one. A moniker given to him by those who have been a part of his entrance to our bike world because, well, he sends it. Hailing from Novato CA, and currently residing in Truckee CA. Being groomed by Mark...

12/24/2018 8:18pm Specialized is a good guess, since his sister was on the EWS team in 2017, and is now an ambassador. Since Jared Graves is likely out for the majority of the season, the big S could use another top 20 rider. #Strengthforjared

12/18/2018 4:12am It's official! Brayton on Nukeproof for 2019!
Last year we’re not going to lie, despite the success of the team we did miss a full-time presence in the Downhill World Cup. So, we’re stoked to announce that Nukeproof will support Adam Brayton as a frame sponsor for his and Hope Factory Racing’s assault on the UCI Downhill World Cup for 2019. Adam is an awesome addition to the Nukeproof team as the reigning British Downhill Champion with proven history of results, numerous top 10 World Cup results (including a podium in Fort William, 2016) and represented Great Britain at...

12/10/2018 5:28pm Shes had a rough couple of years. One of my favourite female riders, really hope we see her back up near the podium at the EWS where she belongs.
