Yes, 2x in a row due to availabilit of the exact model (compound, casing etc). Work great for me, but never tried the Fr so maybe I'm missing out!!

12/9/2024 4:55pm When people are talking about the Forekaster, it would be good to clarify whether you're discussing V1 (wet weather XC tire) or V2 (all-around light trail tire). I've tried a few different Maxxis options on my Transition Spur and the Forekaster V2 Maxx Terra / Rekon Maxx Terra hits the sweet spot for fast rolling/not super sketchy.

Lotta options: 1. Piston crooked in bore. Sometimes this is obvious, other times not so much. Remedies: Push the piston back in straight by pushing on a couple sides. Worse case: install a pad on the opposite side and secure a pad spacer. Pump the brake to force the stuck piston to move and reset it after. 2. Debris. Typically happens after a good amount of use. Solutions: pump the piston out enough to clean it thoroughly. If the brake's had a helluva life, consider a caliper rebuild kit. When the caliper is split make sure to clean the bore...

8/12/2024 11:55am There is a Rekon EXO+ that seems to hold up pretty well. For burlier casings, you could look for one of the gravity-focused semi-slicks, like Minion SS or similar.

Also Ohlins has published their settings info in the past - I had these saved and couldn't remember where from but it was actually a 2018 press release for the updated TTX18 damper. It also shows their HSC working in a much more useful speed range! Not sure how this relates to current forks - unfortunately there isn't much support for them here so I don't have any actual info on what they sell today

So anyway I did mention I'd post some data for this thread, here are the tests I've run on charger 3 & 3.1 in the past. Blue is 3.0 fully open and fully closed, red is 3.1. The HSC adjuster is less noticeable when the LSC is closed, its effect is more at very high speeds, but overall I found it to be pretty consistent with what they claimed.
