They have done some things right and some things need improvement. Exactly what we expected switching to a new format and Discovery. So many people on here are so misinformed it's mind-blowing. Blaming ESO/Discovery for UCI and vice versa. Change is automatically scary to the misinformed and fear is the mindkiller.

Everyone knows. It's as concrete as possible for this time of year. Always a chance a venue drops off and/or changes but that's typical. I've had the schedule since September 1st and team managers way before me but that's also typical, nothing new.

10/6/2023 3:06am Invested in property. He purchased the land for 2014 for $215k built then sold for $4,600,000 in 2022. Not a bad 8 year investment. $4,600,000 would get you a lot of land and home in Tennessee. Bonus plus is that Tennessee fits Gwin's political leanings better than Cali.

Gwin is very smart with money (knows his worth and is driven to get it). He owns and manages the team so would be pulling a salary from that...

10/5/2023 6:13pm Agree, poor form. Rob took years of broadcasting to get to the level he was at. While before Disco took over all the haters gave it to Claudio Caluori and Tracy Hannah and I never saw Rob agreeing to and sharing the hate.

Man... I'd love to see Rob back but that's poor form in my opinion. The guy is trying and I see his game improving. I have noticed he has been popping up in the background of vlogs and track walk videos more often. Broadcasting is a tough game and I'm sure if we went back to Rob's first 9 races we wouldn't be that hard on Cedric. One of the things I love the most about watching downhill is rooting for everyone to do their best. I'm rooting for CG as well.

"Pulling sales out of the future and into the present." I was actually sitting around a campfire on a riding trip this past weekend and said almost the same thing to my riding buddies. The way I see it, on a micro-level with the riders in my local area, a good portion of people I saw getting new bikes during the pandemic were probably going to get bikes or upgrade their bike in the next 1-2 years but working from home and the increased leisure time that came along with it led to people making their purchases 6-12 months earlier...

10/4/2023 5:22am Exactly, Red Bull has additional events for 2024 which the teams, industry etc. have known about for a while but are not publicly announce for a few weeks. Promotors are waiting for the right PR window when it wont be lost behind the last round or the World Cup, Rampage etc.
