From all the interviews I’ve seen everyone seemed relieved that the event was canceled.

Adidas owns 5.10 which has a range of riding apparel. Adidas could use that as a foundation to create an adidas range.

Local Maydena rider Sascha Kim has been given a last minute wildcard for Hardline.
When Red Bull is the promotor who has the power to influence who is invited its not that insane. Amaury Pierron, Loris Vergier, Luca Shaw, Thibaut Dapréla and Sam Hill 10 years ago all would have given it a shake but haven't been seen at Hardline.

Came to say the same thing. Sam is a legend, however he is pretty quiet on the socials, does the odd race, man of few words, isnt proactively chasing media and doing the moto life with his sons. Not really what a brand would be looking for in an ambassador.

don‘t get me wrong sam hill is a legend, but what does he bring to a bike company these days? no content on youtube or any other social platform. should he get a ride/contract/money because he‘s sam hill? i also don‘t get the feeling that he‘s into product development either.

The Canyon range is a strange one, especially considering they ship the bikes from Germany so having a limited range is counter intuitive. The Australian team lost some of their Melbourne based staff so they weren't immune to the layoffs. Maybe they are looking at pulling out of the smaller markets for the time being. Norco was distributed in Australia...

I don't think the point is valid at all. If WB were so keen to get rid of the "Red Bull Era" then they would have cut all ties from 2023 on. But instead they were happy to increase the RB branding and presence between 23 and 25. Red Bull media house (who broadcast the WC series before) and Red Bull the energy drink brand are not the same company. Connected yes, but not the same. So the branding deal from 2023 to 25, I imagine, was actually a new/different deal than anything before. Again showing that WB didn't have...

Outside of Durango / Purgatory are any of the CO / UT / NM based bike parks shown interest in hosting a DH World Cup?

Pretty sure there are international discount codes, Escape has tons of members in Australia and Europe. Nobody has even mentioned their podcasts, which to me are worth the price of membership alone.

Their Member Purchase program (what they call their member discounts) are worth the subscription alone (note they are NOT affiliate links, just a straight discount): https://escapecollective.com/member-purchase-program/ Add in Dave Rome's excellent tech/tool coverage and the Ask a Wrench segment in his podcast and to my mind it's a bargain (although I've spent a lotta money on tools because of him...) That being said, it's LOT of roadie stuff w/ a sprinkling of CX, gravel and XC; you can get a monthly sub for $13/mo if you wanna try it out.. Edit: This should give you a view of the business/industry...

Except that RB sponsored the WC series from 2023 to 2025 with branded jumps, podium, arches on the tracks and start gate etc... I don't think there is much more too it that monster offered big dollars.

They are from the great state of Utah. You do the math on that one. Joseph Smith was born in Vermont. His manifest destiny was to inspire others to build the greatest bike brand of all time in the valley. Taking no prisoners on the way.

After seeing the amount of ads Paramount had in every available second of last night's UFC event then maybe Warner Brothers were not as bad as I thought
