Hard disagree. IMO, if you watch Hardline like a WC DH stop, you're going to be disappointed. If you watch is a more of an event than a race, and include all the practice and pre-race footage, it's fantastic. You get riders from all over the spectrum. Fast, really fast and WC winning fast, but also freeriders and trick riders and old heros. You get women who are pushing their limits and progressing the sport. Yes, at the end of the day, it's a race, but it's not about individual riders or teams or points. Everyone is walking the track...

I don't think he can complain about being slow since the bones in his wrists are still knitting together. I mean the timeline of his comeback is insane (not in a good way) like the moment he got his casts off he decided to order two mobius braces and try to race. He's going to cause permanent damage and almost for sure going to get arthritis. He needs to just take a break.

Team rumours rule 16.2E: An athlete using a bike during an offseason training ride shall not be strong indicator of sponsorship changes. If the bike is not from the category of the athlete's chosen discipline or if the athlete is travelling, it will not constitute a rumour. Alleged still doesn't look good to people buying products. If I was a bike shop owner and somebody applied to work there and was alleged to be replacing customers' fork oil with olive oil and skidding the showroom bike tires in the parking lot, I wouldn't hire him, because our customers wouldn't trust him to work on their bike. Daprela is alleged of much worse. I just can't see how that makes sense for Rogue Racing's sponsors.

Disappointing to see there are still teams willing to support Daprela after what he is alleged to have done. There are a ton of other riders without teams that are almost as fast and come with none of the baggage. I would've thought sponsors would prefer their riders to be fast and good human beings, rather than just fast.

I explored their website, and I never realized the dozens of applications that belts are used for. I think another sponsor helping field DH teams can only be a good thing. Like others said, time will tell if belt drives are more competitive with these teams on board. Will be an interesting season!

Dating someone on the team you own and manage is bad enough, but the fact that he first met Jenna when she was an underage junior racer on his team is beyond creepy. They conveniently started dating the first year she was in Elite. It is an overused term nowadays but that is the definition of "grooming".

I know a couple Junior riders who spent years on the circuit around B-Kiddy and he seems to be the most hated rider out there and it’s not really close. Obviously I don’t know him personally but judging by the general sentiment towards him and the fact that he’s dating his employee w an age gap that wide, it’s probably safe to say he’s a mega questionable dude.

I could care less. But dating a girl who was 17 when she joined your team shortly after she becomes legal, while she still is a part of the team, is pretty questionable and wouldn’t fly in a lot of businesses. Hell plenty of companies would not let you date an employee as a manager if they were 10 years older than you. The age gap just increases the power imbalance. Ultimately if they are happy and stay happy good for them. But there are a lot of young women who get used by irresponsible men making false promises who...
