Trek pretty much started new this season so I would imagine they are all on 2 year contracts minimum. Not sure of Hauserās situation as recall he wasnāt on the full Trek program at the start of the year. But since we are throwing out scenarios. OO replaces Matt Walker at Trek and Matt Walker replaces Matt Walker at Pivot.

Yeah signing Kolb to 4 years when they knew things were going south is just the worst. After hearing the pinkbike (was it? Or was it someone else?) interview with Kolb talking about how Oisin told him it was clear to him YT were saving and cutting costs on things for the Mob right from the get go this preseason.

yeah, might be some truth to it since vali mentioned on WynTV that she learned to read her contracts carefully for the future... i mean that clause alone shows everyone how shitty of a company YT is, since it looks like they already knew that the end could be near š¤¬ plus signing andi kolb to a 4 year contract which didn't even last for 10 months is just baffling.

I wonder if rogue racing is not continuing with him. Considering the success of the other riders, Thibault and his ārumorsā may very well be a hinderance in getting sponsors. And rogue can probably get more points than thibault by hiring a up and coming or mid pack veteran female elite. Which seems unlikely if he is on the team. I'd hardly say the hardline thing was the nail in the coffin. If anything that was more so 'cringe' and just tasty troll bait for poking fun at him, for both fans and fellow riders alike. And it would be easy enough for him to roll with the punches. The nail in the coffin for me came a while ago, and I'm still blown away how it all worked out and is overlooked by this point š¤¦āāļø

Out of interest did you see Adam Brayton's track walk vid at the Wales event? At one point he mentioned a line where there was a gentleman's agreement the previous year, which he said BK then broke. š¤·āāļø

I wouldn't read to much into it , he probably has just had enough. He's been on the circuit a long time and had some pretty big injuries and maybe he just wants a change . What ever happens this season is imagine PFR will be racing next year on wildcards at least . People seem to have taken against BK recently , can't think why š

This is where I'm at as well. I mean... it's his team. But if I were to start dating a subordinate at my job (regardless of age difference), one of us would end up having to resign... and most likely, as the person in the position of authority, it would be me. That's pretty prevalent in company policy around the US, espcially if the person is a direct report of the person in authority (which Jenna would be to Bernard). So many bad looks. The conflicts of interest, the power imbalance, the implications for fellow teammatesā¦there are contracts with both their names on them, Iād presume. This would be wildly out of line if there was no age gap, let alone what we have here, where the manager met the rider when she was a teen. Super boost and short chain stays would stop me from buying a Pivot before anything Bernard did.. I wouldn't date anyone that young, but I'm a lot older than he is.. We assume things are questionable, but laws are different everywhere. Sexual assault is a whole different thing..

I think youāve read into my post in a way it was never intended, in this instance disregard the people and the publicās opinion of their moral character. The saying goes win on Sunday sell on Monday.. pivot should want their bikes raced by people that are competitive and actually guaranteed an entry into the world cups.

Going from Bernard to daprela would be the worst look ever. Bernardās stuff is a bit questionable but you kind of just got to wait and see and Jenna can make her own choices. But to go from someone with a large age gap relationship with questionable beginnings to a guy with sexual assault allegations would be wildly irresponsible in modern times. I really doubt either Bernard or pivot would benefit from exiting the relationship at this time. I think the people on this forum have far stronger opinions on the subject than 95 percent of mtbers including women. And...
