1/18/2023 1:32pm Hi friends, I have a Specialized Demo Race w/ the out of the box Rockshox Super Deluxe. https://www.specialized.com/us/en/demo-race/p/175245?color=281621-175245 OEM spring rate is 400#. I'm just a bit too light for this and the closest Sprindex rate I can come up with is 340-370 which is too light. I'd ideally try something around 385, 390. Ohlins has a 388# which would...

Dave, couple questions.. I'd guess you have decent access to all sorts of bikes - what keeps you on that model? 60mm stem to counteract the -1 angelset, keep more weight on the front wheel?

9/14/2022 1:08pm Maybe even consider EMDR therapy with a registered therapist. I used that with my therapist after a traumatic crash earlier this summer. It helped me reframe the whole scene and come away with a different mindset when I think about the crash. https://www.emdr.com/what-is-emdr/

I heard something about this years ago – specifically about a WC DH course down there. Something about Lake Leatherwood? I suppose the Walmart heirs could just buy a mountain and transport it to Arkansas. A Walmart DH track could be quite something – riders would have to deal with the usual drops, gaps, etc, but also watch out for falling prices.

That may have been the best world cup race I've ever watched. Incredible racing. Can't believe it for Ronan, Bernard, Kolb, so many amazing results for so many folks on easily one of the most difficult tracks. Wow.

I think there's something to be said for the older guard that all qualified, they know how to manage the slop and make it through to finals. Incredible result by Jackson... Not discounting anything he did, it's amazing, but is there any similarity between this week and Andorra where the track was a bit less effed fair Juniors? Kind of doubtful in those conditions but curious. Can't wait to see him smash elites next year.

That's a multinational series that spans somewhat the geographical size of the US, and seems to have proper retention and market share. One of the biggest problems the US has always had is that it's incredibly expensive to compete cross country in the NW Cup as well...

7/22/2022 8:43am One thing I'm super curious to see if is anything happens with Asa Vermette, the Durango based 16 year old that is consistently beating the Pros at NW Cup, Bootleg Canyon, etc. Currently he's riding for DVO and has a GT. It'd be sick if he gets some clout after this week at Nationals and gets picked up.

Primoz, do you mind extrapolating on how you would run the factory bleed (not over filling via bleeding edge), while maintaining a short throw? Or is that counter to what the Swing link is designed for and thus, users would just need to "deal with it"?

6/13/2022 1:22pm This, or the root gap, were easily some of the coolest things that happened in that race coverage. In my viewing, it seemed like as the riders came down behind him, that he was faster than almost everyone on the virtual straight. Like that jumped helped him accelerate even more so. What an animal.
