Just came here to say thanks for a dirt jump bike review, and double thanks for a knowledgable/credible dirt jump bike review that used numbers and comparisons to place the new Faction correctly amongst its peers as a more park-y/short/poppy/twisty bike.

Non stai sbagliando tu. Solo che ti misuri con prodotti diversi. La tua domanda è corretta e pertinente e io stesso mi faccio delle domande, ma alla fine ogni progettista e sviluppatore deve andare nella propria direzione. Pensare ad una sospensione attiva e soprattutto adattiva come Bright RS ma immaginarla come se fosse un prodotto main stream non ti può dare un vero metro di giudizio. Devi provare una Bright RS per avere un riferimento reale e captare le differenze in trazione e stabilità laterale (ma anche in maneggevolezza, manovrabilità, comfort). Lo so che questo è difficile perché Bright RS...

It’s hard for me to wrap my head around how a fork with no sag could perform well off the top. This basically flies in the face of how I understand suspension. I am not a suspension engineer, but I ride at a reasonably high level. I also ride moto and setting sag correctly is key to getting bikes to ride well and balanced. Are rockshox, fox, ext, kayaba, and WP all getting it wrong? Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to try it, but I think there is a key concept here that isn’t clicking for me.

Completes from other manufacturers are available for similar or less money with name-brand suspension. The ARQ fork seems like a big downside on this build, especially if it isn't readily serviceable.

Having ridden the WE a few times, it boggles my mind he climbed it. There are a few sections where I’m scratching my head as to how it worked (the trailer showed 2 of them), can’t wait to see it.
