10/26/2020 11:52am we totally got the point, BUT some dude from Switzerland wrote "the team manager of ms has personaly wanted danny back. He needs someone to put pressure on laury to finaly start winning more frequently" and we simply want to state that this is not the case. It's one thing to do some random guessing and share speculations, but another thing to make a bad joke on the back of riders.

10/26/2020 11:48am So MS Mondraker did not get the memo that a successful Team Rumours thread relies on random speculation and endless guessing so the conversation can stay dramatic. If a team manager drops in with a "nope", its a shocker. Hah!

10/26/2020 11:47am Great start to the thread, a whole bunch of nonsense! I think the syndicate would be nuts to let Vergier go, he is the best performing but also the most entertaining with his goofy funny style. They know it too with how much they put him into their edits.

10/26/2020 11:46am I agree he is very talented. Yes he qualified first place three times in 2018 but he was in 20th place overall in the WC in 2019 following his injury at the season start and did not perform at the same level in qualification as the previous year once he was back. Sometimes it a change of scene that is needed to spark that next step - do the same thing everytime and get the same results. I am not saying he should step down from Elite, I am not suggesting that the Syndicate will kick him out. If you...

10/19/2020 11:54am @chasejj well, we are talking about people who spend $8-$10k to ride a bike in the mud the turn around and try to make their "money back" selling their wall art of a bike for a whopping $4k "ridden a handful of times " rigs. Hah

10/19/2020 11:54am Hostility is the result of my lack of patience for dumb stuff and how this industry will promote it nonstop and never mention that it is not necessary. Nobody wants to upset their buddies in man buns. I will and don't GAF. BTW- How in the hell does this protect against anything but the most minor of scratches? Most of the frame damages I see involve deep gouges by chains or rocks.

10/19/2020 11:53am I have the material and can cut and apply film over vulnerable spots as needed. It is driven by carbon fiber garage queens who obsess over resale. I don't buy my bikes thinking immediately about resale. That is dumb.

10/19/2020 11:52am In an industry overwhelmed with dumb and overpriced products. The protection film market is leading the charge for the stupid looking to give away their money because they don't want a scratch on their frame. Insane.

10/19/2020 11:52am Why even bother yourself with frame coverage? it is already painted, why to add wrap on top of that? it is free, less stressful and 0 hours wasted, and 0 waste

10/16/2020 10:47pm To me this is clear cut DQ. Spomer, I second or two before your screen grab you can see the top of the pool bend under the rear wheel and come out on the right side of his bike (i.e. rear tire was completely outside the pole). He also totally blows up the tape between the pole he hit and pole above it with the rear tire. That's OB. It's not like he hit the pole with his bars and the tape broke. It was the his rear wheel that's on the ground. I agree with others saying I don't...

10/16/2020 10:45pm "he didn't go over the tip of the pole" is something i can sort of get behind. i still don't think it's the right call here. the pole is leaning, the tape is pulling the pole down and it there's an appearance of "riding over it" which could be more of a grey area, despite the tires being on the outside of the gate on the ground. that leogang stump triple had some vagueness with jumping "over" the point in the ground but not going around the pole. tires on ground vs airborne seems more obvious to me. i always...

10/16/2020 10:44pm Definitely a DQ if the UCI want to be consistent with their rulings, Bernard tried to argue this as he was DQ'd years ago for something similar, but the UCI Comm argues it wasn't intentional. Bernard gives his thoughts in my WynTV up later tonight.

10/16/2020 10:42pm do you guys not see his tires to the left side of the pole in that screen grab? riders can smash through the pole with body and bars all they want, but tires can't break around the point of where the pole is in the ground. angel's do. if that pole was shin-high there wouldn't be a debate, would there? if this was between poles and he brought tires back inside, no issue either, but he's outside the pole, on the pole. the other rule in play here is the protest time period, which is now over apparently. so that...
