12 dropped chains even with the size of those top and bottom rollers 😂. Chain guides were so bad back in the day. I had a Roox which arguably jammed the chain worse than it would have been to just drop it. Good times.

8/2/2023 8:50pm Looking at the schedule, there's only 4.5 hours of practice available before qualifying for the male elite. Such a short time period to get up to speed.

8/1/2023 5:29pm I remember when it changed some years back and was a bit bummed. I always thought it was pretty cool that people from all over could get selected by there federation and have a crack at the big stage. I'm sure logistically its far easier culling the field down for finals though.

Hey Spomer, I'm glad things are looking up for USDH locally and the Euro scene looks really healthy with the IXS cup. Here in Aus, the picture isn't so rosy. Our national cycling body cancelled the national DH series a few years ago, not because of poor attendance, just because the people in charge are XC obsessed and view DH as a fringe activity. From what I can tell they are actively trying to kill off DH racing in Australia. In my home state of New South Wales our state series has also been cancelled. Victoria and Queensland have healthy...

Just did two days of riding on a full axs setup and was blown away. Seat post was awesome. But the shifting was amazing. I don't go through derailers like I used to and it certainly made me want to upgrade to this setup. 20 years of riding cable shifting and two days on wireless and I never want to go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to these fine gentleman converse. Pretty interesting to hear the US perspective on dh racing atm. What sad times are these when passing ruffians can't even rip dh laps in Colorado!
