Looks quite similar to the Cannondale Jekyll layout. With the exception that the front half of the rocker is hidden and the frame surrounds more of the shock on the Jekyll.

That rocker link has to be the longest ever and I'm sure won't cause any flex/stress on shock or bolts. Plus it is pretty hideous.

Is that a proto TRP or E Thirteen drivetrain too ? I don't recall seeing those cranks anywhere yet.

Idk if itd be a DH/free ride bike. Looking at the teaser, it’s two dudes in a drone shot absolutely hauling ass uphill, standing and mashing on the pedals. I’d guess either a new ebike or an updated spur (even if that’d be a bit early they have no availability/expected restock so wondering if a new one or an aluminum...

I don't mind it that much, certain color combos just work. While not a huge fan of PB, their kit looks nice. Otherwise, let's not forget how the ENTIRE bike industry is SO creative, that everybody ripped of the classic Gulf Racing livery for a decade and a half! And I don't mean well done things, like a one-off Production Privee Shan, but sad shit, like Trek and Specialized 1000 bucks hardtails. A tribute is a tribute, a rip-off is a rip-off. And these here were most likely done with the perpetrators feeling good about themselves. I don't mind the...

With up-and-coming Southeast rider Jack Brown on the Devo Team and Kate Lawrence on the National Team! Apparently, the recipe for landing on a Yeti team is dominating the BME! I actually raced with Jack Brown and Chris Grice in the 3rd Coast Enduro series when they were in their early-to-mid-teens. Both were super humble, and were just stoked to ride their bikes. I also remember Jack getting notably faster each race, and quickly smoking everyone. Gotta love the state of gravity riding in the Southeast!

There seems to be a bigger story behind intense's current state. A total lack of direction and improvement to consumer bikes won't bode well for them. Their heritage and having Gwin onboard will only take them so far before they drop like other brands (Think ellsworth, turner, etc). Painful to watch honestly, especially the weird stunt they did with the...

Based on the last several years I believe it’s safe to assume there will be no innovations implemented on the proto Intense bike.

Has Intense moved past their "2015" geometries at all?

Why do you want to buy an Intense? After they moved production to Asia they lost all their appeal for me. One of their strengths was that new frames moved from prototype to production quickly and they also implemented running changes. Now with not having in-house production anymore, they are just another bike distribution company.

I don't really know what's going on with Intense right now. For about 2 years there is almost no M29 available and it doesn't seem to change. In addition, the whole concept is thrown over and a 279 is developed which will apparently never be available. Last but not least, something completely different is being developed that is exclusively reserved for Gwin. As a potential customer, I feel like I'm being led around by the nose. There is simply nothing new to buy from Intense.

The milling pattern on the upper link looks quite a bit different than the Cascade Enduro link. I'd expect Cascade wouldd use a similar design since they're both the Spec 6-bar layout. I think it's more likely that it's Spec trying things out for a new Kinevo (non-SL). Plus it doesn't explain the prototype wireless dropper. Cascade wouldn't be running / testing that.

It's a let down IMO. They had the revved rear triangle for the Trail Pistol for a little while now, this announcement is that now you can upgrade an older Trail Pistol with the AL stays with revved ones for $1200. Sorry GG, swing and a miss on this announcement.
