Not a fan of the protected rider set up. Copying my post from another forum. (and to be clear, I'm a massive Minnaar fan, but he has benefited hugely here). Greg Minaar has 32 points from Lenzerheide. Flatting in Semis, getting a free pass to finals where he flatted again. Greg is protected due to finishing 10th overall last year, on 623 points. Daprella, who finished 11th last year, on 620 points, would have receieved 0 points had he experienced Greg’s problems this week. Those 3 points from last year have turned into 32 already. In contrast, the loser here...

Super misleading title. He switched from a 9 deg backsweep to a 10 degree. That would move the ends of his bars about 6mm backwards alone. The stems were only 1mm different. Depending on his bar roll, his hands were roughly 7mm back with the second setup.

And the bar continues to rise It's going to be a wild season....This video also made me think about how cool a wheel sponsor would have been when I was racing, so I could no-brake into boulders without batting an eye. I'm almost positive that is what was separating me from the top 20.

This is the most ominous part of all. How are people who didn’t know there were factory teams going to”bring it to the next level”? This is like when someone tell you they just got a really nice mountain bike at Dick’s and we should go ride sometime. By the way, whats next level mean, anyway? If it doesn’t bring more income to the racers, more track coverage, and no more ads than RB coverage had, it’s going in the wrong direction. if they don't hire warner, we kickstarter to get an alternative audio stream of warner. also, over the last two-three years b/c of red bull free streams, watching XC has been awesome. i never cared before, but the coverage had me tuning in. hopefully that continues as well.
