Its using the Rotec version of the Lawwill system, except without the concentric bb pivot. Everything else is the same layout as the RL9.

Id guess Reserve 30 with extra plies internally for strength/stiffness, kinda like how you can order LB rims with different layups but the exterior is the same.

3/2/2018 7:27pm Almost all the offset is in the lowers, crowns are nearly neutral so its probably not as much as it may look. Check the position of the stanchions in relation to the steerer in the upper crown. They're def more rearward than the current Boxxer. I really wish they would finally make it wider to improve steering angle, but it...

Can't, UCI still has a stupid rule requiring same wheel size front and rear. It's an old carry over from TT bikes, but there has been rumors that it may be up for consideration. I agree that 29 front/27.5 rear would be the ultimate DH race setup. The big front wheel gobbles up everything and keeps you rolling over the holes, and the smaller rear allows you to move your weight back, changes direction a little easier, accelerates/decelerates quicker, is stronger and lighter.

8/3/2017 7:18pm I have a Sunn Radical Plus hanging in my shop with an Obsys inverted fork on the front, circa 1996. They were light years ahead of the competition. The frame still has all the DNA that you see in the current Commencal DHV4.

If you're gonna wrench for one of fastest racers on the circuit, why wouldn't you build a setup like this? You're a professional, and your setup is part of the pit environment and sets the tone. Inspiring, love it.
