You've seen the photos and videos, now let Greg Minnaar do the talking from Val di Sole today. Minnaar was extremely lucky to limp away from this crash without too serious an injury. But the incredible part of the story is how he was able to walk down the track, shake it all off and put down a confident run in qualifying finishing just .171 seconds behind Aaron Gwin in 2nd place. The massive direct impact against a wooden post with Greg's leg leveraging the bike was a bit more than this race machine could handle.

Marshy and Co. in the Syndicate pits had a freshly-built-up bike within 45 minutes, ready to race. Sven Martin says, "after checking Minnaar was ok and taking this photo, I put a quick call into SCB pits to let them know the news and the quick rush job that would be needed to get Greg a fresh bike built up to make his quali start time." The rest is history.

The guy is a machine. Also HUGE props to Sven and Vital with the scoop in real time. We're absolutely spoiled with the coverage we get.

How about some huge props to Marshy, frame swap to race ready in under 45 min isn't impossible but its still damn impressive.

E-Bikes must get a re-design. Greg Minnaar is now 'that guy' at all E-Bike war rooms.
